Cookie Policy
Last updated: 6 August 2026. This page explains how AltiCasino uses cookies and similar storage on alticasino.uk. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar tools include localStorage and sessionStorage, which keep values inside the browser without sending them on every request. We use both categories carefully and only for the purposes described below.
2. Why we use them
We need certain storage to remember that you confirmed you are 18+, to honour cookie choices, and to keep the Site secure and performant. Optional analytics help us see which guides are useful so we can prioritise updates. We do not use storage to sell your identity to data brokers.
3. Essential storage
Essential items include the age gate flag (AltiCasino_age) and the cookie preference flag (AltiCasino_cookies) in localStorage. Without them, you would see the same prompts on every visit. Hosting platforms may also set technical cookies that balance traffic or protect against abuse. Those are required for a working Site.
4. Analytics and measurement
If you press Accept on the cookie bar, we may enable aggregated analytics that record page views, approximate location, device type, and referral source. If you press Decline, we keep essential storage only. You can change your mind later by clearing site data for alticasino.uk and reloading the page.
5. Affiliate and third-party cookies
When you click a casino button, the destination site or its affiliate network may set its own cookies to attribute a registration. AltiCasino does not control those cookies. Review the operator’s privacy and cookie notices before creating an account.
6. How long storage lasts
LocalStorage flags remain until you delete them or clear browsing data. Session cookies expire when you close the browser. Analytics cookies, if used, typically expire between thirty days and twenty-four months depending on the vendor configuration we enable.
7. Managing preferences
Use the on-site Accept or Decline controls when the bar appears. You can also block cookies in your browser settings, though blocking all cookies may break preference memory. Browser help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge explain how to delete existing cookies.
8. What we do not do with cookies
We do not use cookies to serve unrelated advertising networks across the open web. We do not sell cookie identifiers. We do not attempt to re-identify you from analytics aggregates for cold outreach. Casino operators you visit after leaving AltiCasino may run their own advertising stacks; those practices sit outside this policy.
9. Browser signals and controls
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” or global privacy control signal. Support for those signals varies across analytics vendors. The clearest control on AltiCasino remains the Accept / Decline choice on our cookie bar, combined with clearing site data when you want a fresh prompt. Private browsing modes usually discard localStorage when the window closes, which means the age gate may appear again next time.
10. Updates and contact
We will revise this policy when our tools change. The date at the top shows the latest material edit. If a new analytics provider is added, we will describe its purpose here before it begins collecting optional data from consenting visitors. Questions: support@alticasino.uk. For broader privacy rights, use dataprotection@alticasino.uk as described in the Privacy Policy.
